What £15,000 car?

Having just bought our winter family car I’m stuck as to what to get for a bit more fun.

I’ve got £15,000 - £17,500 and want something just as enjoyable as my e92 M3 was but owing to the spec on that car I will not be able to find one in budget, so..... what car?

No criteria other than it be just as engaging as the M3.
