Would stahe 1 tune affect warranty on A7?

have recently got an A7 from main dealer .. 2015 model.. got a great deal on it including 2 years servicing, 2 years MOT and also 2 year warranty... loving the car.. totally right for what I need for work.... I do a big run 300 in both directions every few weeks all motorway, and the tempting factor of 15 to 20% extra MPG with one of these tunes, as well of course as a bit more power.. but would a flash effect warrenty on the car do you think? it would be detected as guess as well?

Whether it will affect it will depend on what breaks.
They won't auto void your warranty just because you have had a remap, any failure would need to be potentially attributed to the map itself. For example, if you took it in because the car developed a leak somewhere, clearly that is not related to the remap but if you took it in due to power issues and they find the turbo is toast, a quick check for the remap may find your warranty invalid, even if the turbo would have failed anyway.
MPG gains are pie in the sky from what I understand, 5% if you are lucky but I wouldn't be shelling out £350-£500 in the hope of 20% fuel savings.

Yes hear what your saying, but I guess if something goes they would try and tie it in... As it gets out of the claim..
Interesting to hear the mpg level being challenged... The power gains are substantial, and surprising for a bottom level tune.. I recently did a 600 mile round trip, and even on Eco mode, but also some blasts along the way I got about 45mpg , less than claimed which is the norm.. But not bad considering what this thing is........
I'm reluctant on tune as this is a second hand car, so 2 year warrenty etc is quite a deal really when you think chances of things going must go up older the car is.. But tempting lol... Maybe year 3 when warrenty expires for final year I have it
