Hi all,

The o/s rear indicator light has failed on my 500. The front and side indicator work fine, just at a manic speed.

I've tried replacing the bulb. I've also disconnected the bulb holder assembly and cleaning the connections with circuit cleaner. No luck.

Are there any other obvious things to try? Should I stump up for a replacement bulb holder assembly?

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

I stump up for a test meter first and find out where you're loosing voltage. wink

Make a test lamp with a bulb holder that will accept a 21 Watt bulb, you will then be able to test the circuit through

Thanks both! Time I invested in a circuit tester...

For me...having had a Chimaera some years ago, the first place I'd look is at the multi-pin connectors behind the carpeted panel to the rear of the B-pillar.
Quite a few connectors in the recess...all liable to a bit of damp and corrosion. Think there are connectors behind passenger and driver's side panels.

Either way, for a bit of time and a squirt of WD-40, it won't cost a lot to check!
