International received calls.

My mother has in the past 24 hours received 70 calls from assorted areas of the world (USA, Guinea, Mexico etc)
Now I appreciate that it costs nothing to let them ring out, but she's rightfully getting a bit pissed off with it.
Unfortunately she has an iPhone and I have never owned or used one. On Android its quite easy, install calls blacklist and block all incoming international numbers.
Can something be done on an iPhone?
I've googled it but am getting no answers.
