1.2 TSI and DSG Tell me the bad stuff

So, the alignment of spec, car type and finances have led me to a Skoda Yeti 1.2 TSI with DSG.

What are the bad things / problems with the engine gearbox set up?

My parents have a 2017 yeti with this combination. My father complains of very intermittent but v severe hesitation, Skoda can't find any fault but I've noticed it and when it happens it feel like a misfire or crap fuel.

Friend of mine has exactly the same and is a smooth drive.

Oh it's pleasent enough, their issue occurs maybe every 300 miles or so and only lasts a second or so.

Is this the wet clutch or dry clutch DSG?
