Audi TT MK1 air con problems

Just been having air con problems with my Audi TT mk1
Went to have the car re gased and still had a problem
And then the car started to over heat in traffic
Found the cooling fans had stopped working
the 10amp fuse located in the drivers side pannal was at fault
So if you start having air con faults check the fans are working
