Hey Rob
Bit of a misunderstanding here. It was a standard Vectra covered in huge HSV logos front, back roof and sides. He's obviously a big fan who can't afford the real thing, just like me.

i can't afford 1 just yet either but i have more chance of owning 1 than an M series beemer plus i'll have exclusivity & a proper drivers car not a computer controlled box

I think HSV will be looking at this option in the near future.

I think for HSV to grow & move on further as a company, they will have to offer smaller cars like the Astra in the future, as well as the fantastic cars we know them for already.

Even in Australia some people like the small cars and would like a little HSV.

Not me but each to his own !

HSV- I Just Want (a V8) One !

Its an interesting problem.. What are HSV looking to do in the future.. Because fuel prices are going up everywhere, even Oz where they were moaning about it being expensive & the fact they are becoming recognised more as a multi national brand for more & more differing tastes, do they go smaller- V6, 16V? even *cough* De*sil?? & what will the future generation be driving in.. a hydrogen HSV? any thoughts or does any body have any idea of the future plans for HSV?

I saw the same, but thought it was an astra yesterday at Halfords in Portsmouth. Had something with HSV Racing or something like that. Didn't pay attention to whether or not it had holden badges on it or not.

Had a yellow T in a GTS badge. No doubt they would have seen my car parked just down the road.

I Have seen those badges on UK E-bay before, that's prob where he got them.

I think HSV will start to do smaller cars as well, like the Astra. I have read that the Aust small car market is on the rise (must be loads of poms over there now then, ha ha) so because of that fact plus the fact a smaller HSV will be a bit more affordable to most people, it could be a good seller.

Just hope it don't encourage to many boy racers with the back-to-front cap like the one you have mentioned running around here in the UK.

Rob.
