help with staggered wheels on an A8 quattro

Hi all
i am after some advise.
i want to run wider tyres on the back of my A8. i understand it can be done if the rolling circumference is similar.
current set up is 245/45/18
rolling circumference of 2129.1 mm
proposed new set up is
245/40/20 on the front
rolling circumference is 2211.7 mm
proposed rear set up is
275/35/20
rolling circumference is 2200.7 mm
this is a difference of 4% front to rear.
question is what is the tolerance for the diff as i believe it will blow the diff if it is too way out?
will this set up be okay?
