Hi!

I currently have a Honda HR-V on PCP which will be coming to an end in March 2020.

I am looking at what to get next, but i need something that can fit two baby seats with isofix in the back, as well as an adult in the middle.

My wife insists she does not want a people carrier, so i am looking at what SUV's might work.

We would be looking to lease and dont want to spend more than £300 a month. I think the Citroen C5 aircross might be our best bet. I also like the Mazda CX-5 but dont know this will be big enough. Also dont think a Sportage, Kadjar, Tuscon or 3008 would suit.

Does anyone have any experience with getting two baby seat in the back as well as an adult in any current SUV's?

And advice much appreciated!

Adam

You need a car that has 3 proper seats in the back.

XC90 would be my choice

Thanks for the reply! Would would an XC90 but could never afford one at the moment. A C5 Aircross is the only SUV that has 3 seats in the back that i can think of at the moment for under £300 a month. I need at least 12,000 miles a year as well so this puts the price up!

Might be worth buying used instead of leasing to open up more options?

If you need to lease then the C5 is pretty much the only option for your budget, could you get a loan for a similar amount a month (remembering the initial payment you'd have to pay) from a lender which then means you have a few more options but does mean that you'll have something a bit more expensive to run.

We've got a current gen Pug 5008 (same architecture as the C5 I believe) and it has 3 full size sliding seats in the back - as well as another 2 pretty decent seats in the 3rd row. I've done 2 hours in the middle of 2 bulky booster seats and its been fine (not luxurious by any means!). Really nice car in GT Line spec or above.

I quite like the latest gen Grand Scenic as well - it is an MPV but it looks good IMO (as good as MPVs do...)

Skoda Kodiaq. Plenty of room for 3 in the back plus an extra row if required.

CX-5 is a lovely car and has two isofix seats, but might be a little bit of a squeeze for adult in the middle! C5 Aircross definitely seems like a good shout imo.

Stick with Honda and get a CR-V? Plenty of width on the back seat, and we regularly carry two children in car seats plus an adult in the middle in our 2013 car. Honda seem pretty keen to deal on the new model. If you've currently got a HR-V, you'll probably already be targeted by your local dealer.
