I’ve not looked into this much but having just moved we need to set up 2 bedroom TVs.
I’d prefer not to have to run aerial cables due to routes and access at the moment.
Is iptv a viable option just for watching mainly terrestrial channels?
Both TVs have smart features.

I've been considering this for a while, at the moment I run a home theatre PC (HTPC) with a twin tuner card in it for for reasons I've never got to the solution for its ropey. There's no reason if I got it going properly that I could stream from it to other devices.

However I'm considering either this: https://www.vboxcomm.com/product-page/terrestrial....

Or this: https://www.silicondust.com/hdhomerun/

Both have their pros and cons.

There are also things you can do with Raspberry PIs but obviously this isn't an out of the box solution.

It works very well in our house, but we are not really heavy users.

I only have one aerial (actually satellite) feed into our house and mainly use the TV apps on the other smart TVs in the house for terrestrial TV. I mainly use BBC iplayer for live TV but there are ITV, Channel 4 and Five apps but not sure they cater for live viewing.
