BCA auction prices
Discussion
BCA are very expensive unless you can find a trader to use their account. I bought a 430d from there for 22k and my fees were around £450 as I used a trader friend. Fee would have been double that for a private buyer.
I tend to buy privately now as it is cheaper than auction in many cases but may require a bit of travelling. My last car was a BMW M4 Comp bought privately instead of the auction and saved thousands over the AUC cars.

I find its variable, I bought a E220 AMG Line Premium Estate in the Mercedes sale. Had every extra fitted in glass roof and dual wide screen displays, its still in manufacturer warranty and was 5-6k less than a dealer inc fees.I tend to buy privately now as it is cheaper than auction in many cases but may require a bit of travelling. By comparison small hatchbacks were way more than you could buy one privately for and generally in worse condition.
