Anyone have recommendations of what to try or where to get buy from, the French/Spanish/Italian versions of Black Pudding.

We had breakfast in the chain Cote the other day and the BP with the cooked breakfast was boudin noir. It was very nice, softer texture than what we get here. any good suppliers gourmands know of in the UK?

I'm no fan of traditonal black pudding but I quite like Spanish mocilla. The ones I have tried have had a lot more flavour and rice replaces the big lumps of fat.

I'd imagine you can get it pretty much anywhere online. i used to get it from a deli suppler.

Sounds like that's the one they have in the Paradores for breakfast ... bloody lovely stuff.

If you’re anywhere near Edinburgh or Glasgow, a place called Lupe Pinto’s does Spanish black pudding. They also import amazing Spanish Chorizo.

A completely different thing to the stuff you usually find here.
