I think it could be very close, seeing as the Conservatives are busy fighting amongst themselves.

God help us if Corbyn gets in.

Thoughts?.....

Given we appear to be incapable of governing ourselves I vote for the EU.

Brexit party to grab a few votes from Tories and Labour, Lib Dem to gain from both as well, SNP to gain Tory and Labour seats in Scotland - result hung parliament, so an election solving nothing.

We're fked it that comes to pass.

Corbin is a genuinely dangerous, nasty, deluded, vile little man who will utterly fk the UK.

I've been saying for a while that I'm gonna shovel any spare money offshore and probably in US$ accounts and I'm in the Channel Islands next week so now may be a very good time to open an account.

If you remember this is what it got us here, austerity because everyone apparently was on a handout. At least Corbyn will get to tax heavens which is something a lot more important than exiting europe, I really do think the two are connected btw

That’s not a bad call because if that Marxist comes to power you may not be able transfer assets / cash abroad. And even if you could the Pound will be worth much less with him at the helm.

That is quite possibly the scariest and most dangerous outcome.

They are so caught up in their fearmongering about a Corbyn government, they overlook the fact that their predictions are happening right now as a result of the extreme form of Brexit being pursued .

Only for those who don’t want to honour the result of the referendum.

Most of the country would be quite happy with that (and no Corbyn).

I suggest you go and look at what happened in Germany in the 1930s.

Don't we ever learn?

Letting a fringe party of lunatics into parliament and negotiating a power sharing / coalition with them will not end well for anyone.

It may well be popular, but it's dangerous and the worst possible outcome.

How is he going to get at the tax havens that are different countries? If I have loads of money is Switzerland how would he get it?

Genuine question.

By pressuring the Swiss government to compel their banks to hand your transaction history to HMRC in order that it can be audited for evasion activities. The pressure might - for example - take the form of threatening the imposition of penal taxes on Swiss businesses operating in the UK.

Once HMRC has established that evasion has taken place, you will be assessed for the tax due plus penalties and interest.
