I emailed you but in case you don't get it, I'd like the Pinto engine, gearbox and propshaft. Also if it was a Xflow Geep modded to Pinto the mounts as well. If space / weight is a problem Engine and spare head is more important than box and shaft.

Good news and bad news
We have had a good luck at the vehicle and have decided to try and keep it as a whole car as it is far too good to break up and we do not have the time to dismantle or enough transportation to take bits to Newark.
Thanks to those who responded re bits needed for your own vehicles, if we do decide to break we will give you first call, if you haven't acquired the things you need by then.
Re side steps I will take one off and get a quote from local friendly engineer as well as the " bloke at work" who is a skilled fabricator and semi professional welder. If prices sound good I will spread the word

No worries Mike , I will find another cheap donor Geep for my project soon , theres no rush I dont expect to complete it for another year or so which will give me time to source all the parts I need , cheap "rolled" 2wd Sapphire Cosworth would be nice

That Anglia based one I have will end up getting stripped soon to free up some space ( no abuse please - there is no ID and it really is bodged to death ) just got to find somewhere to keep all the bits I take off , we will soon be running 2 on a daily basis so the spare axle , gearbox etc may be needed at a later date.
