Rules on Parliamentary recall of an MP...
Discussion
Anyone know what the criteria are to recall a sitting MP? Not the vote piece, but what justification for having the vote in the first place?
I wondered about it given the alleged bias of Bercow toward remain. If, and I don’t know this is the case, his constituents voted to leave could/would his local Tory committee be able to say enough and pull the rug from under his feet?

If Bercow is removed, is it not the turn of a Labour MP to be speaker? Who would stand?
Bercow hasn't fallen foul of any of the Recall conditions, but he might be removed if Johnson decides to throw even more convention out of the window and have a candidate stand against him at the GE.If he does, then my vote would be for Dennis Skinner as the new Labour Speaker. A fiver says he'll make JRM cry like a baby before the end of the first week of a new Parliament.
