Hi all, I understand the basics of cookies but since 'every website' now asks you and everyone accepts. . . how do I accept them all without needing to click yes everytime? Thanks in advance

I'd never dared to think there might be some way to do this. It's annoying to say the least. Not sure if there is a solution though?

It's a classic case of legislation for legislations sake in my opinion. With cookies, notification requests and before you leave windows it can sometimes be 3 clicks before you can even access the page. Then when you do get on the page you have to be careful where you click in case you end up visiting some advertiser site.

It's painful at best. I dont know how you can auto accept but I did finally get so annoyed with the notification pop ups that I researched how to switch them off for good.

Another example of eu legislation going overboard costing business billions to implement. I don't think you can auto accept.

There are Chrome and Firefox addons called "I don't care about cookies" that supposedly get rid of the popups. I keep meaning to install it so can't say how well it works, but it could be worth looking into.

That got me looking (I use Opera) and found these:

https://www.i-dont-care-about-cookies.eu

https://cookiesok.com

Not yet installed so can't vouch for either.

I've been trying it out and "I don't care about cookies" does break some sites, for example
https://officiallondontheatre.com/tkts/
Just hangs without showing anything, you need to disable the extension for the site before you can use it. Not a deal breaker, but something to be aware of (and probably makes it unusable on mobile devices).

I've just DL that add on for Firefox and that particular site is working fine for me... no pop ups and I can click all of the links on the homepage

You can just block these with uBlock. You don't need a standalone extension. Fanboy's Cookie List under Filter Lists/Annoyances does it.

It doesn't look like to supports Edge, or does it? Cheers
