XP desktop shortcuts

Hi collective brains :) :wavey:

is there any way of getting a desktop shortcut for the outlook calendar function .. so i can click on the shortcut and it opens outlook and goes directly into the calendar section immediately?

Of course, your path to Outlook.exe may vary, depending on version etc...

Yep.

Right click on desktop, go to New and then Shortcut.

Paste in the following line, changing the path to Outlook.exe if necessary:

"C:(bs)Program Files(bs)Microsoft Office(bs)OFFICE11(bs)OUTLOOK.EXE" /select outlook:calendar

Replace (bs) with a backslash - PH doesn't like displaying them. Also remember to include the quote marks when you copy and paste.

Click Next and name the shortcut whatever you wish.

Voilla!
