Ok so I had an EO mini fitted about 7 weeks ago ready for my model 3 SR+ and it wouldn't charge.

I had a new EO mini fitted tonight and still the same. The light on the EO changes from blue pulsing to green pulsing to indicate it's starting to negotiate charging but nothing else happens.

I've charges the car with this cable elsewhere so I know that's ok.

I've had the EO mini replaced so assume that's ok.

Going crazy here and don't know what to do, any advice would great, ideally I'd like someone with another EV try my charger at home, but I don't know anyone with an EV.

I don't know what to do now.

A bit far for me sadly - did the installer definitely test it?

The Tesla Owners Group on Facebook is very large, I’m sure you’ll find someone on there willing to test another M3

If the cable is tested and the car charges without issues elsewhere why would you assume the EO mini isn't the issue?

Having had issues I'm surprised you didn't test it at the point when they replaced the unit to ensure it was working before they buggered off TBH.

Unless you can find someone with a Model 3 to test your EO Mini I don't see how that proves anything as could well work with another EV and be a Tesla compatibility issue?

I did post that a few Model 3 owners were having issues with that charger on your last thread on the subject.

I know but only having the car a few days doesn't give me much faith in any of the variables.

I was stuck in traffic, trust me, I wanted to be there.

Testing on any car would prove the charger can work.

Yes I know and from looking into that I discovered the faulty batch of EO minis sent out which led to the replacement, thank you.

I'd definitely assume it's either another dud charger or bad installation personally. The chances of it being an issue with the car are slim to none if it's happily charged elsewhere and you know the cable is fine.

Does it charge with the tesla supplied portable charger?

I'd just like to say, the panic is over, it was installer user error, a small switch wasn't adjusted that should of been as part of the setup, this is now fixed and I'm charging perfectly.

Kudos to everyone at EO for helping with this. First class customer service.

Glad you got sorted. I also have an EO Mini and after the installer fitted a unit with a badly scratched front plate and were slow to do anything about it, a quick mention to EO and they chased them up and also followed up a few days later to make sure I was happy - top service.

Yeah I can't fault EO in the slightest. Off topic, I've come away for a week this afternoon, be interesting to see how much range the model 3 loses over a week just parked up.
