Whoops... MG V8 goodness inside!
Discussion
Well, a large amount of alcohol and an apparent deep-seated desire for certain bankruptcy combined to result in this...

She's a ZT260 in Monogram Nocturne, one of 4 260s in this colour.
Apart from a t
t in a Passat trying to write it off on the way home from Scotland, it's been a fun day!
Shockingly bad on fuel, amusingly window-rattly and an absolute hoot to drive.
Spec wise, it's a full SE - which in MG Rover terms means you get a couple of buttons rather than a completely bare dash.
Just kidding - electric memory seats, cruise, auto wipers and parking sensors (plus a few other toys) mean that you've got the full 2005 technology experience!
MPG worked out at around 25 on the way back, mixed motorway and A roads.
She needs a bit of work - the heater control valve was on the back seat (meaning the heaters are on full all the time, endless fun) as they're a common failure.
This was part of the plan, though - the business I just sold develops parts for MG Rover vehicles, so myself and the new owner will be using this as an opportunity to create a better version of the valve which shouldn't fail and will cost a lot less than the £300+ they currently retail for.
Other issues:
- Bodywork is a bit tatty in places, couple of scratches etc
- Windows head unit doesn't quite sit right, needs properly refitting
- Needs a good service, inc plugs etc as little history present
- Rear tyres are a touch low (hmmm, wonder why!)
I got her for an excellent price, so I'll be spending the money to get her right. Thanks for reading

Don’t worry, I did go into ownership knowing the MPG. I’ve been on the owners clubs for many years with the spares business
It’s absolutely not a car to own if economy is a concern, as they’re designed for comfy V8 wafting rather than out-and-out power. Lots of fuel for much noise and not a huge amount of go!
I’ll grab some more pictures shortly - she is indeed an SE with the Hi Line trip computer etc.
The monstrous V8 rumble is intoxicating - the chap at the petrol station 5 minutes from the seller asked what it was, did they make a V8 from the factory etc
