This will be the last of my what car threads hopefully.

Stuck between this

https://www.carbase.co.uk/used/bmw/5-series/520d-1...

and this

https://usedcars.audi.co.uk/usedcar/audi/a6/a6-all...

The above comes with 2 year warranty with it.

I sort of think looking around the second one is a very good price and will hold is money with another 50k on better.

Any thoughts/opinions

Not sure how they are similar.

One is RWD and 190BHP and the other is Four Wheel Drive with 320BHP.

The only similarity is that they are both estate cars.

I would get the Audi out of those two if it were me, purely due to the FWD and extra power but being a BMW fan, I would get neither and look for a 530D/535D.

Point taken but you need to test drive them really, the BMW will be wildly different to the Audi.

If you were comparing the 2.0 TDI non Quattro to the BMW, it would be more of a fair comparison but even then you would need to sit in them and test drive etc.

On paper the Audi seems a better due to being FWD and significantly more power but in person, you may think different. Audi's don't do it for me, I don't like the interiors of them but its a personal thing.

Agreed, I think the audi will be a nicer place to waft motorway miles with the air suspension.
