I don't know much about German cars or how rarity works with regards to pricing for a car like this. To me this seems to be an absurdly priced 190E even given the 'provenance'.

What do you guys think? Aside from the value of it being a collector car you could build yourself a much nicer 190e if you had the money or am I completely missing the point?

Just about everything Brabus will attract serious money when done properly, and that's certainly one done that way.

I wouldn't be surprised if everything on the car is new/professionally refurbed only a few years ago and few miles since.

On the plus side, they've had it over 12 months and dropped it 15k already. Another 5-6 years and it'll be priced about what it's worth.

Push the boat out and get this instead if you want a sporty 190

I believe that’s a different car, PH-er MBZ6 has a lovely looking RHD one. Not sure of any others on here

I believe this car had some work done by Brabus to get it looking sharp again, as it used to appear for sale on their website

Almost worth it for that rear wing alone, even though you can’t see it from inside! smile

Pah. I'm building a AMG-engined cosworth replica with the intention of keeping to a budget of £10k. So far I'm at £6k (with me doing all the spannering and fabrication). It looks quite achievable. Reckon I can bang it on ebay for £150k when I'm done?

That Brabus is absoultey lovely. It is strong money but if properly resolved will handle very well and provide an experience that many are paying out in depreciation alone to experience.

What's not to like?

The price is not to like! laugh

It wouldn't cost anywhere near that much to replicate the car yourself.

i've got a 190 with a 3.6 AMG engine, manual box, and lots of other period tuning bits, if it was worth 1/10th of that i'd be happy.
