Loyal customers of Wetherspoons will be happy and most likely wanting Boris to speed things up!

Just don't mention the Living Wage or question how he's managed to do all this stuff whilst still in the EU.

How do EU import tariffs cost 20p on a pint of Ruddles bitter exactly?

Or why most of the staff appear to be from eastern Europe.

Possibly by increasing the cost of the ingredients they brew it from?

Ah, Wetherspoons...

A place where you can see German lager served by Romanian bar staff being drunk by people who complain about the EU and want their country back...

What exactly do we think is in a pint of Ruddles that attracts EU import tariffs?

All of the hops are UK varieties, and 99% of the relatively small amount of Barley we import comes from within the EU.

I went in yesterday and wondered why a pint of Bud light was only £1.75

Tim Martin. A man who insults the intelligence of the public by thinking people are stupid enough to fall for his ‘20p Propaganda’.

He did the same when he shouted about having switched all his wines and spirits to non-EU products a little while ago.

All he has done is prove that you can source and sell cheaper ‘world products’ if you want, whilst still in the EU no less. Well no st Sherlock, you always could do.

He’s got the nerve to think we are all daft enough to believe he’s making a relevant point.

Thats one way of reading it. The remainers way, perhaps. Maybd the leavers are thinking that yes, we likd Europeans, we need immigration. We oike Europe. We just dont like the unelected EU telling us what to do. Still they support Brexit so that makes Wetherspoons racist, of course. Employing those Romanians, etc etc rolleyes

20p cheaper but if it was 20p dearer the same people scoffing at it would be all over it like a rash going "Look, look Brexit its the end of the world"

I don't think I've been in a Wetherspoons, and I'm pretty sure no one tells me what to do. (except subliminally by Mrs PR of course)

And there's you on the JRM thread going on about ttriggered lefties laugh

Still, Imagine if the Brexit that hasn’t happened yet had not made it possible for that wetherspoons prick to cut his beer prices today, you'd be blowing a gasket, even more when you found out EU customs duty on beer is 0% & Tim Martin had just played you for a mug.
