A general question from a newbie -
i've a cayenne MY2020 on order, built date late oct & scheduled to be ready for delivery last week of dec.

Is there any disadvantage for the car to be registered end of '19 as opposed to 2020??

I would, you have waited all this time for your car so what's another week?
I will make a lot if difference resale being registered in 2020.
Unless u intend keeping it for over 10 years wait would be my advice

The OPC might not let you wait as they will need the figured for that 1/4 as it’s the worse one.

Some of my best deals have been 28th or so when buying cars.

OPC in fact has honestly confided that this past 2 quarters have been the toughest for him as a sales manager, a buyer's market for a change.
Unusual for porsche OPC to be keen to please - freebies etc.
