I have a share certificate valued at around £100?

Does anyone know the most cost-effective way to sell and what fees I should expect to pay? I see HL will charge £40 - is that ‘fair’?

If you want to gift or sell to a known person, you can of course complete a transfer form and send to the registrar of the company you hold shares in. No fees at all if the transaction is a gift.

You probably also know, that small shareholdings can be gifted to charities.
