Hi all,

Does anyone know if this can be done on a non-ISOFIX car? I managed to get the pram in the boot, the car seat strapped in, then realised there wasn’t a switch...

I’m guessing this is a dealer job, but is there a fuse that I could pull to achieve the same thing?

Thanks,
Nick

Is the switch not on the side of the dash, visible when the door is open?

Unfortunately not- I don’t have the switch on the dash side in mine.

The DB9 has two fuses listed as "airbag module", F44 and F49. Check the fuse diagram in the manual, the Vantage probably has the same thing. However I am not sure how you can tell which one you need to pull for the passenger side. I'm also not certain that it would deactivate the airbag entirely, or whether there is a failsafe in place.
I'd definitely call a dealer to be sure, it's not something you want to get wrong. (Or call an Indy, a dealer would probably make you come in and then charge you £120 to pull out the fuse for you).

Thanks- I’ll check with the dealer when I get it serviced. There are some posts from US forums suggesting it wasn’t possible- but I think it’s due to US laws (and children in front seats).

ISOFIX was deleted from my car which was why I think the switch was never fitted unfortunately.
