As the ex-owner of 2 P38 Rangies, I pity anyone who steals one. It's like being an identity thief who realises they've stolen the identity of the Elephant Man.
I was burgled once - they nicked one set of keys to my second P38, and the telly. The keys were found thrown away further down the road - they'd clearly decided carrying the TV away was less of a risk than nicking the RR to do it and risk breaking down 500 metres down the road.
As a non expert on the Marque and it's cars it does seem quite common to fit newer facelift parts to older Range Rovers to make them look like newer, more expensive ones. Ed did it on wheeler dealers so it must be true.
