Anyone ever exported their Tuscan to the Nordics (Sweden)

Hi,
Im Swedish and I have imported severals cars from EU including UK (2 TVR!). It simple and straight forward. In general:
- Drive your car to Sweden, don't stop at customs (if you are a EU citizen) Make sure you have a valid insurance.
- Report it to the National road register (Transportstyrelsen), and send papers (DVLA) in original to have it registered with Swedish plates. There is a small fee to pay in advance. https://transportstyrelsen.se/en/road/
- When Transportsyrelsen has approved your car, i.e not stolen etc, you can use it.
- Book a registration MOT. There are several authorized companies and there is a fee, about 3.000 SEK (If I remember correct)
When the car is MOT approved you will get the original plates and you can take a local insurance.
Whole process is simple and it takes from weeks to month depending on when you can get a MOT time. Meanwhile you will be allowed to drive on interim plates. When I have done this I needed an interim Swedish insurance. Don't know about your English, but Tranportstyrelsen can answer to this. They will communicate in english.

Good luck and welcome!
