I saw this story this morning on the TV.

What a load of crap.
Piers Morgan certainly had the right idea when he was laying into the chief of the service. Replacing Fireman Sam with two male fire extinguishers. Classic.

I don't want to sound like a proper gammon here but this gender stuff needs to stop somewhere. I really think we will look back in 10 years and think 'What the fk were we doing?!'

Also, apparently Fireman Sam isn't representative of the Fire Service today... I'm pretty sure 95% of them are men anyway.

Couldn’t they stick some tits on Sam and say he’s transgender but identifies as a male? The name is fairly unisex so would require minimal to no alteration in the text.

The station by my work had a pretty good historic covering from the buildings previous era's but there was backlash so was replaced with an upto date PC version (complete with smallprint on the poster)
