Golf R or Fiesta ST-2 - Stick or Twist?

My Golf R lease ends next week. I can buy it (66 reg, 23K miles) for £19K + will need £400 service + £400 to extend warranty (if I bother).

... or let the Golf go and get a new Fiesta ST-2 (with performance pack=LSD) for £18.5K.

Thoughts please.

PS Also have a 718 Cayman and a Forester XT on my fleet.

Of the 2 i would go golf, there's a reason it was more expensive when new.
I always take a view that new isn't new very long so difficult to justify the premium Vs lightly used.
A slightly older st so someone else has taken a share of the depresiation would of course be a good shout too
