I have a 64GB XS and pay 79p a month to Apple to store my videos and photos in the cloud.

I currently have 8000 photos taken over the past few years.

What is the simplest way of viewing my photos on my windows laptop, saving them on the laptop whilst also deleting some to give me more space on my phone?
Can I do that in one process?

In the past I have simply just copied my photos from my phone to laptop but I want to be selective in what photos I save on to the laptop and delete on the phone.

You can access your iCloud account via any browser. Simply log into iCloud.com

Not sure how easy it is to save photos from the browser though onto your windows laptop.

Install iCloud sync on the laptop

On the phone go settings, photos then choose optimise storage this will automatically offload photos from your phone storage
