Its more weatherproof, and the picture I posted of my S1 has it
fitted (but its silver). I think it makes the car look sleeker.

Where I live it doesn't rain in the summer, but I'll be putting the hardtop on soon for the winter....

Take a look at the Adrian Blyth website; they sold a red Elise with a hardtop a little while back and it's still showing on the site.
