Hi All,

How are you all storing your phone whilst in the car. I have car play so obviously there will be a wire so I don't really want a vent mounted option. I would like to mount it somewhere around the arrows in the photo. Any help appreciated.

Josh

I've always used RAM mounts on my vehicles. They're not cheap (~£65 mine cost) but extremely well made and durable.

You buy all the parts you want e.g. suction cup/screw place, arm and holder (in my case the X-grip) separately. You can thrash the car all over the place as that X-grip will never lose grip of the phone (I trust it so much I have one on my motorcycle too)

Josh,

It just sits in the centre glove box once connected to the N/S USB using an Apple lead.

Thanks all.

I know it fits into the glove box but I then forget the flaming thing when I get out. Hence why I wanted a stylish holder.

When the ignition is switched off my Seat Leon puts a message on the screen reminding me to take my phone with me.

My Audi tells me it is still in the car. You do realise we are talking Aston here wink

Personally, I would prefer to hide it, out of sight, in the central armrest storage area, attached to the Apple lead or USB port. Why spoil that fantastic interior with an ugly phone bracket? That’s what I do with mine, and I’ve not forgotten it yet!

Best Regards

I have a Belkin phone holder, its designed for a cup holder, but it has 3 arms that protrude as you screw the cap, as such it fits lots of different cubby holes etc. In the DB9 it holds my iPhone nicely and is in a good location to use as a sat nav as well.
