Solar trickle chargers

Anyone got advice about which are the best regulated solar trickle chargers out there.

Only anecdotal, but we had a people carrier that rarely got used and would often have starting trouble and flat battery, so I got an AA branded one off Amazon that plugs into the OBD port and it never had a problem from that day on.

We have an AA branded one bought from Amazon.

We used to have a lot of problems as the car is rarely used.

No problems since using the solar trickler.

Biggest problem was finding the OBD port :-)

That’s a great idea, I’d only ever seen the cigarette lighter ones and they obviously require a permanent live to work when the ignition is off which can be a faff.
