The dawn of non-carbon based fuel.

I’m not a hippie, tree-hugging Emma Thomson fan, but the way I see it, the more people convert to costly, dull electric go-karts, the more lovely smelly petrol will be left for those of us that truly appreciate it.

Honest politicians who have the best interests of the 'working man' at heart, like Jeremy Corbyn for example.

No mobile phones, no personal computers, riding my pushbike everywhere and all day, no worries about what I was eating and whether it was bad for me, holidays at the English seaside.

The dawn of carbon based fuel was wood. You're quite old aren't you.

I’m glad to have been born in the early days of personal computing and technology in general. I think it’s good to be in the generation that understands it, but still appreciates it for the massive technological advance that it is.

Think Acorn Electron / BBC B / ZX Spectrum -> Amstrad PCW -> early PCs -> PS1 -> laptop -> Xbox -> iPhone -> tablet ->>>

And seeing the Internet from day one pretty much.

My kids don’t appreciate any of it, it’s just part of the furniture. Maybe there will be similar advances that they look at and say “wow” in the future.

This is my Retro Wall (or, as kids call it, the “what is all that old crap?” wall)
