So a democratic process wanted Brexit, the Liberal DEMOCRATS want to cancel Brexit? Where is the democracy in that?

Being done to death in at least 2 other Brexit threads and the Joe Swinson thread.

Hands up who wants another one (if you want a bit of democracy)

I would hope that the traditional LibDem will be concerned at their apparent refusal to accept a democratic vote.

Err, if this isn't a trick question, if a party stands on a manifesto pledge to cancel Brexit and wins a majority then democracy says Brexit is not wanted any more.

I'm afraid as a result of the Fixed Term Thread Act, you'll need at least 2/3rds of the posts asking for it to be closed.

I'm voting to keep it open. For the time being.

They'll certainly scoop a lot of votes due to it though.

As you can see despite wanting it closed now you want to close it the majority of mods want to keep it open. Just to embarrass you for trying to leave the thread before the 31st October...

Screw that. I’m suggesting we prorogue this nonsense and return in 5 weeks. Subject to Gina Miller and co intervening of course.

They'll attract moderates from Labour and Conservative.

At the moment it's just between us PH Commoners - I don't think the House of Mods is involved at this stage.
