As I've been getting to know my V12VS over the last 6 months, I've gradually been pushing it harder through corners on decent country roads (where it's safe to do so, of course yes).

Although I thought I'd noticed it before, a particular dynamic became quite evident that really made me smile today - and without fully understanding what's happening, I thought I'd ask on here to see if anyone can explain it - for no other reason than genuine interest.

So, for example, with ADS set to Sport mode and entering a left hand corner quite quickly with throttle/speed balanced, then applying a full increase in throttle (flooring it eek) approximately at the apex, it feels as though the rear right hand corner "digs in" and the grip and forward propelling force from that corner seems to increase shortly after the application of full throttle. It's almost like the harder I push, the rear wheel under greatest load seems to respond and firm up and push the car round the corner.

I'm probably not explaining it very well and maybe it's just nothing out of the ordinary but I don't recall quite this behaviour from other RWD cars in my driving past.

In my mind I'm imagining it's the adaptive suspension increasing the spring rate as the load increases and the DSC assisting somehow - but I'm really no expert.

As I say, out of interest, if anyone has any insight into explaining what I'm experiencing I'd be really interested......

I'm also no expert but I suspect what you're feeling is the DSC applying the rear brake to control the wheel spin you're inputs are provoking. Try it (flooring the throttle mid corner) with DSC in Track Mode and you'll have more fun. Try it with DSC completely off and you'll end up in the hedge facing the wrong way.

Could be the rear diff doing its thing. If you get it right with the power then you would hope that wheel would drive you out so to speak.

Either way it feels great when you get it right.

And yes, with all assists off expect to end up facing backwards. My car will do a doughnut (on private land) very easily in 1st with all assists off...
