Looking for a new phone and have found some really good contract deals on mobiles.co.uk. I usually just phone my provider but they cannot match the deals I’ve seen.

Has anyone ever used them or is it all too good to be true ?

They are a trading name of Carphone Warehouse, so not a fly-by-night sort of outfit.

I've not used them personally, but I've used mobilephonesdirect and affordablemobiles recently and had good service and spectacular deals with no gotchas.

I've used them and got a decent deal with EE (more data than was available elsewhere)

I’ve used them numerous times. They’re very good.
Avoid the non automatic cash back.

This thread reminded me to submit my first claim for cashback.

Used them many times.

If using cashback then remember to set calendar reminders

Be careful. I got my other half an O2 contract from mobiles. Turns out O2s coverage map isn't very accurate and we needed WiFi calling enabled. Spoke to 02 and they refused as we hadn't got the phone direct from them. They then said the coverage issue isn't their problem either.
Mobiles said to speak to 02 as the contract is with them. We've given up now and she's got a phone we can't use at home

If your contract is truly with O2 then what happens when you log in to your "MyO2" account?

I have used them a few times, never any problems, set up a TopCashback account first and you can get about £40 cashback from Mobiles.co.uk,I can send you a referral link if you want?

I got my S8 from there on a Black Friday deal, everything was fine with it. Not sure yet whether to upgrade or take the tariff down to something lower when this BF cames around. I'll see what their deals are.

Bought loads from them.
My current phone is S10 on Vodafone. Vodafone didn't complain when I asked for WiFi calling smile
They just sent an update or something and hey presto the option appeared for me to turn on and off.
Never had any problems.

For O2 your contact is with them NOT mobiles. Maybe they thought you were saying something was wrong with the phone? When as I understand it it's too do with the network. Might be wrong.
