Why were you thinking of getting rid of it in the first place?
There are lots of good reasons to get rid of a V8V. For example; in order to make space for a V12V. You don't need to go into detail, but a rough idea might prompt some responses.
I managed to keep my V8V after my child was born for example, I just had to learn to pack efficiently. I kept my DB7 Vantage when I lived on a busy terraced street in central Watford with no off street parking, I just tried to make sure it was near the end and managed not to worry about it. It would, frankly, take a heck of a lot for me not to have an Aston or similar.
