When stationary, and with foot brake applied, you can engage neutral by using the left paddle. Engage ‘D’ with the right paddle.

Yes, the dealer told me this when I picked up. Very helpful to quickly change gear when sat at lights. If I remember correctly, you can change to reverse by holding down shift for 3(?) seconds from neutral, but haven't tried that.

I've been changing to neutral that way when I stop at lights. I'd question the use of the word 'quickly' though - if I use the paddle to change from neutral to 1st, it seems to take about a second. You really need to know the lights are about to change.

Think is Ferrari that let you rev the engine in neutral if you pull both paddled?

But never tried on Mc, although wondered if there was a similar way.

I guess we can't do both paddles, since they're linked. I've not figured out how to rev it in gear.
