Hello All,

I have some problem with my A3. There are symptoms that can help to find the problem, but I would like ask for some advice, what else should be checked.
The car has a 2.0 TDi engine with cffb engine code (140 hp, fwd), with 280k kilometers/174k miles and 8 years old now.
So the symptoms:
-worse fuel consumption (but enough engine power, engine is not lazy)
-dpf regereates very often, about every 180-250km/100-150 miles independently from where used (city or highway)

I bought the car with this symptoms I don't know how many miles was driven so. Sadly the original dpf is died a month ago, I saw black smoke when regen was active.
Later I got a fault code too:
5120 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S1
P2196 00 [237] - Signal too High (Rich)

So I decided to fix every bad part of the car. Started with a new DPF last week, and with a new turbocharger.

After the service, I started to use the car again, but fuel consumption remained worse and dpf regens still very often, but I cannot see black smoke now, and exhaust is clean. And there is no fault code.

Yes, now I know that the dying of dpf is a indicator, that something else is bad.

So my idea was that the too rich signal can occur not just about too less air, but too much fuel. I don't know anything about the injectors are in used but I think they are still the original ones. I tried to check injector amount deviaton with/in VCDS with normal engine temperature, at idle, and while I'm driving. I don't know that measuring it while driving is relevant or not, but I made a graph from the logs:

As I see, injector in cylinder 3 injects too much fuel, when I drive more and more. Am I correct?
Did you guys are familiar with this kind of measuring?
I don't want to spend tons of money, for replace every part of the car, I just want to find the bad part(s).
What do you think, what should be measured?

Thanks for your help

Yes, that was exactly. It took some time to find out, but a bad remap was the cause!
