Hi all
For the last so many years we have been using Dropbox to store a 'safe' and easy back up of mine and my wifes photos from our Iphones. The cost is around £11 a month but strangely tonight the wife has a notifcation saying that she has been charged £2.99 for the 200gig plan for Icloud. She never signed up to this but note at some point today went over the 5gig free limit so may have clicked inadvertantly.
Looking into this she can share this with me so we both now have 200g combined (for as long as we pay the £2.99 a month). Can I now simply move all my old pictures from drop box to Icloud (well under 200gig) and close the dropbox account.
Is icloud for our purposes the same as drop box (we are an IOS family if that helps in terms of phones and thus photos). Dropbox on the phone was a bit tedious in that it seems to pause every so often.
