What do people think of this colour?

try and ignore the interior which really doesn't go with it!

My local dealer has one. My impressions were it was anonymous, didn't make the car seem (fairly) aggressive as a M-Lite should , a bit old fashioned (I imagine older gents choosing such a color, e.g. my father had a similar color for example) and overall a really "neither here nor there" color in that it , as above, didn't make the car seem tough, and yet it is not a bright, stand-out, color either.

I did ignore the interior, that was vile. wink

Why do you want a car to seem ‘aggressive’?

The alternatives are White, Glacier Silver, Sapphire Black which I've discounted, or Phytonic Blue, Carbon Black or Sophisto Grey.

Carbon is nice but a nightmare to keep clean. the blue is lovely but common as, and the grey is well, a bit boring. The Sunstone seems to look silvery in some lights but gold in others and set off nicely with the Shadowline trim.

Reading some of the recent comments on this thread I'm not sure it's a colour that will shift easily in the future. But if you're leasing it, and you like the colour, go for it. I'd probably go for the blue out of those pretty limited colours - I'm surprised there's no individual colours available.

A good choice. The X3M will never be 'common' anyhow, so best not to end up the one unsellable colour.

It does , that’s the styling intent.
I would want a colour that matches the intent.
Alternatively , if intent is disputed, it certainly presents as aggressive , big , fast , SUV with big wheels and bodykit.

I love it, such a shame they dropped it as a colour option on the X5.

Interior does go with it........you only have to look how many 1960's Jag's built in similar shade Golden Sand Metallic had red leather interiors when new. Seen a few 1970's RR silver Shadows in pale gold colours with red interiors as well.
