In the S3, where do others put their left foot when driving. On long roads when 5 th will do, I don't like resting lightly on the clutch peddle.

I have size 8.5 and I can't get it behind the peddles.

Try bringing you foot back so that your Knee is bent and the sole of your shoe is flat on the carpet. I have found it far safer than wedging your foot behind the pedal and it does not restrict you operating the pedals quickly.

Unless you're a 6ft 5in string bean with size 14s, in which case boss you can do whatever you want

I'm a size 12 and there is no probs with getting my foot behind the clutch.
I do find that wearing the right footwear helps.
