Nice one Richard who done the work?
A guy called Ian of EN Design who up until now had concentrated on custom crash helmets. This was his first job on a car so we were both taking a bit of a risk which is why I used a spare bonnet. When you see it in the flesh you can see that this is one talented guy.

Looks like you've got a good colour match between your's and the donor's bonnets.
Funnily enough, most people have been looking at the flag so there has been no comment on the colour match. But it is a valid point and despite both cars being 2003 models there was the possiblility of a mismatch. Given that the existing lacquer was flatted and then the entire bonnet was resprayed in clear lacquer, the match is good.

To answer your questions - He is very talented and seems to be able to come up with ideas. He is great to deal with but can't be rushed as he is very critical of his work. He is in Bournemouth and I'm sure would love to do your Plenum as it is more in keeping with the size of items he deals with (mainly crash helmets). The downside is he not cheap.
