Any indie near Southend can flash ECU? (EMF module)

Early E89 Z4 with the none working parking brake problem. I've tried Winkfp but it's erroring woth edibles problem.

I have IstaD and clearing fault/reset won't fix it.

Looks very much like the low battery problem with EMF modulecso needs the software upgrading.

Booked into Fairfield Monday but if there's a less "painfull" option locally that would be nice!

PMW in Chelmsford always use to be able to do any software upgrades that were available from BMW, may be worth asking.

Thanks for that — I will remember for next time.

Went to Fairfield’s in the end - all sorted plus recall work for battery lead.

I have to say I’ve always been wary of main dealers but my experience was great and actually their main service cost was, although more than indie, not much more so had that done as well and of course the book is stamped. Overall happy.
