Hi all,

Struggling to find something that is good value. We are after a 1+23 or 1+35 lease for a midsize family car, something like a Golf would be ideal.

Don't want to go for one of the 1.0 L engines, so ideally a 1.5 petrol or equivalent diesel performance. Looking for 8-10k pa.

Best seems to be a Leon 1.5 FR for around the £215-20 mark, but its a little uninspiring still.

Am I missing something?

I sat in a Skoda Scala, great cabin, great rear leg room, better than the Golf. However, i dont think they do the 1.5 engine. Have a look inside one.

They look decent but I think they are just 1.0 engines. No decent lease deals at the minute, maybe reasonable on a PCP.

The Skoda website says only 1.0 engines, but an Autoexpress article mentioned the 1.5, maybe it is coming later?
I sat in a Polo and a Golf in a VW showroom. The Polo seemed better, and had more rear legroom.
Polo Gti?

Grandland X 1.2 or Kadjars 1.3 are cheap on a lease at the moment.

Yep, seen those. Not sure I like either enough to drive for 2 or 3 years.
