Always been fascinated by tall people.

We had a security guard at work who was very tall, he claimed 7 feet, no reason to doubt him. That's the tallest person i've met.

So, if you're over 2m (6ft 6in) let us know.

A picture for scale would be a bonus.

All I can say is that im only 6ft 2 and happy to stay there.

Any more than 6ft 3" or 4" and you become a bit of a freak. Shoe sizes, clothes, cars etc.

Plus you get a whole load of "hows the weather up there bullst"

It's just a curiosty thing. I think it stems from seeing Robert Wadlow on the first page of The Guiness Book of Records when i was a kid :-)

Our 7 foot security guard claimed he knew what people were about to say before they opened their mouths, he'd heard it all so many many times. Poor bloke.

I'm 'only' 6' 4", but do find it odd when meeting someone taller than me and having to look up at them

Guess that's when I know what it must be like for the 95% odd of people who have to do that when meeting me.

I'm a short arse at 6ft 2, but I've been the same height since I was about 14, so I know what it feels like to be really tall compared to your peers, and had all the 'weather' jokes etc

I think people are getting gradually taller.

I always thought I was reasonably tall at 6ft 1" but the two latest members of my team are both well over 6ft 5" and we've had a couple of female staff who are also over 6ft. My son is taller than me and the majority of my nephews are all over 6ft.

Having said all that I think there's some perception bias in that we tend to notice tall people more than short people.
