Search function not working

Just looking for the "Funny things seen on google streetview UK!" thread.

Got 0 results for several possible title keywords.

Found it through Google, then pasted the actual thread title into PH search.

0 results.

Not working for me either.

I usually just google "pistonheads" + the search term though.

It was only fixed in August as previously you could only search for old stuff, not recent.

Worked ok for a week or 2, I suppose...

Sorry about this! I'll ask the dev team if we can get this fixed.

But as others have said - google is a good option for now!

Search functionality has been a bit of a bug bear of late - it's running on some pretty old technology and is in our backlog to overhaul...

In any case, I've found the cause of it falling over, given it a good kicking, and it's back alive!

^ circled is the search function for Forums (on Desktop), News search is above.

These aren't currently available on mobile due to the issues we were having with this service and some UX challenges, however it's in our backlog to re-enable this across mobile soon.

There is still something wrong with searching for recent threads. I just tried to search for the Spa F2 crash thread to update it with news about Correa, in PH search 'correa' doesn't show the thread, googling 'pistonheads correa' brings it up as the first link.
