Whilst out last night I noticed a lovely looking 991 Targa. Really like the classic 911 look of it and always remember admiring eighties targa's. I'm thinking of changing my 2018 M5 and never had a 911 so thought it might be fun to try. My main concern is the drop in power versus the M5 and whether I can shoe horn occasional kids into it. I've been hammered with depreciation on the M5 .. hoping a 2 year old 911 may fare better. There seem to be so many 911 models.

Great car...think it’s the best looking 911. If you can afford it the GTS is the one to have and I would say a 991.2 which has the turbocharged engine will be better with the heavier Targa. Practicality depends how old your kids are and how tall you are! I think whatever you think it will lack in pace will be made up for a much more engaging drive,
