Retail trading under a LTD Company

Dear All,

I'm probably at risk of a slating, however I will ask regardless.

Are there any benefits of trading equities as a limited company, rather than the being self employed? I have a trading account that I want to grow over the long term, which at present have no intention of drawing down any capital.

I cannot invest under the ISA wrapper, as my annual allowances are invested in full.
